Super Moon

moon-over-the-sea

From sea to shining sea, from east to west and north to south, from poor to rich, from African to American, from language to language, the moon rises to bring light to the night. The plan of the moon is so sure that astronomists forecast exactly when and what the moon will do. The course of the moon is known before it makes its path across the night sky. The brilliance of the moon is dated for almanacs published years in advance.

The Lord set the moon in the sky by his spoken Word. His word, when spoken, is the same as done. As long as God determines the world should go on as it is, the moon will bring light to earth, a blessing ordained by His┬álove for us, ┬ácoming from His righteous and holy character, “And God saw that it was good” (Gen 1:18).

What scientist, astronomist, astrophysicist, philosopher, religious leader on earth can hang a moon in the sky, and sustain it’s going and coming to perfection through the eons of time?

The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended. Isaiah 60:19-20 (ESV)

Everyone knows the answer.
