Behind the Scenes

A not-to-be-missed experience in New Orleans is café au lait and beignets with piles of powered sugar at the Cafe du Monde. The best time to go is in the sweltering heat of summer, sitting on the lanai, where human sweat and powdered sugar mix together in abundance to create an unforgettable and delightful memory.

When I went to the restroom, I walked through the kitchen, and realized how much hotter it was in there..

Around us today are those who are making our lives better, putting in significant sweat equity so we don’t have to sweat as much. Our lives are made easier because someone else is committed to the hard work to make it so for us. Because we can’t always see them, we may not even consider who is out there working on our behalf.
