An Impressionist View of Life

Claude Monet is known as the greatest impressionist painter in history, and was a leader in creating this new approach to painting. We have his beautiful paintings today because he stayed true to what he believed, even when the critics of his time rejected his philosophy.

What would happen today if voters chose to stay true to what they believed? Media reports that voters continue to vote for the two leading candidates even though they believe them to be dishonest. The exit polls show that voters do not agree with the policies of these candidates. It appears people are voting with little regard for what is true. Perhaps this is how it has always been, but we didn’t have instant voter exit polls. One must ponder what would happen if voters actually voted according to what they believe is right. What would happen if people voted for Truth?
