My father was a wonderful man, but it was only his belief in Jesus that allowed him to be “carried by angels to Abraham’s side.” He was a man of great pride, yet this did not keep him from recognizing his need for forgiveness.
We know from experience forgiveness is hard to get and hard to give. Our minds tend to recall the painful words that have been said, or the ill treatment we have received.
Praise is so much more than words.
Your divine ears and Your godly eyes know my need. You never accept my alienation as the final word.
