Winter can be the season of loss, of discouragement, or sometimes the last season of life. Winter can even describe those times when our ministry seems fruitless, or our spiritual life is missing passion.
I had no idea I had taken a photo of three dolphins jumping until I downloaded my photos to my computer. My camera saw things I wasn’t even aware of! Evidently, my ability to see what is happening is limited, even when the sight is right in front of me.
One thing I know, Your Word and Your work are acts of love, revealing love, affirming love, assuring love, teaching love.
Be glad today if You trust in God. You are in a secure and blessed place.
Your divine ears and Your godly eyes know my need. You never accept my alienation as the final word.
Lord, in Your Voice today I have found strength.

A new president for our nation will be elected. As we listen to them speak, or read about their policies, it is often like looking at a reflection on a lake.
Take the morning watch for our lives, for your watch is better than that of the most skilled sentry. Let your eyes behold our need, the dangers that lurk before us in this day!
No other god or lord ever offered so great a gift as this, because they are impotent! You alone are perfection.
